Pneumatic Conveying

The energy and power generation industry (coal-fired, waste-to-energy and biomass power plants), steel, cement, chemical, construction materials industry as well as food processing industry and applications in many other related industries, where in bulk solid material movement and for Conveying requirement is to be performed, PHS with Pneumatic force is employed. The conveying technology basically distinguishes between two different processes. The decision is taken on basis of respective application, based on your needs and expectations.

Wagon Unloading

Dense Phase Conveying with unique dense phase pressure vessel system.

Dilute Phase Conveying (Pressure / Vacuum) with rotary valve feeder, butterfly valve or an injector.

Either system may be the system of choice and have its benefits, often some combination of two technologies is needed to arrive at an optional solution conveying technology basically.

Conveying with air slides

Air slides involve another tried-and tested pneumatic conveyor system that is normally used for large mass flows.

The bulk solids are fluidised and thus made free-flowing, and gravity does the rest. That means that an appropriate slope must in each case exist between the location of the product and its intended destination.

Dense Phase Conveying

Dense phase conveying systems are fitted with:

  • Pressure vessel
  • Rail wagon containers
  • Truck containers

As a standard, the pressure vessel operates at pressure up to 6 bar (g), conveying distance of more than 1000 m or conveying rate of up to 300 t/hr.
