PHS using pneumatic force is used in the energy and power generation industries (coal-fired, waste-to-energy, and biomass power plants), steel, cement, chemical, construction materials, food processing, and applications in many other related industries where bulk solid material movement is required. PHS is ideally suited for bulk loading and unloading of solid materials into railroad wagons, bulk transport containers, etc. SaveEco Energy is a leader in critical pneumatic conveying systems solutions. In essence, two distinct processes are distinguished by Conveyance technology. Depending on your requirements and expectations, a decision is made based on each application.
Designation | Unit | Dense phase conveying | Dilute phase conveying |
---|---|---|---|
Conveying pressure | bar ü | high | low |
Quantity of air / air consumption | Nm3/h | low | high |
Loading (bulk material/air) | kg/kg | High | low |
Conveying velocity | m/s | low | high |
Plant / product wear | low | high | |
Product wear | High | low | |
Conveying distances | m | up to 2000 | up to 250 |
Continuous conveying | Possible With additional equipment | yes | |
Discontinuous conveying (batch operation) | yes | yes, possible | |
Depending on the bulk material | exclusively | limited |
The bulk solids are fluidized and thus made free-flowing, and gravity does the rest. That means that an appropriate slope must in each case exist between the location of the product and its intended destination.
