Flue Gas DESULPHURIZATION

Home / Applications / Flue Gas Desulpurization

Air pollution is an alarming concern and a threat to mankind. Triggering this issue are the Coal-fired Thermal Power Plants that are built to cater to the growing demand for energy. Such plants emit harmful gasses that act as a hazard for agriculture and humans. To tackle these concerns, SaveEco Energy has come up with Flue Gas Desulphurization, granting the industries reliable solutions for complying with the emission norms related to Sox & Nox. These solutions cater to strict and very demanding emission norms, as slow as ‘Less than 5 mg/nm3’, facilitating the clients with cutting-edge technology. Taking this product offering further, Saveeco Energy India is now offering complete Semi Dry Systems FGD plants for Thermal Power Plants up to 50-60 MW.

In the Semi-dry system, the Flue Gasses are moistened in an Evaporation Chamber before they are treated in the Reactor. The semi-dry FGD involves the injection of Sorbent (either Hydrated Lime or Sodium bi-carbonate) into the Reactor chamber where a particular residence time is provided for Flue Gasses to allow for a reaction. After reacting with the sorbent, Flue Gas Dust is recovered through a Bag Filter which is further used for recirculation in the Reactor chamber. The semi-dry FGD Process is a simple process with high desulfurization efficiency and with no wastewater discharge.
SaveEco has a Technology Partnership with the world leaders R&R Beth, Germany, a 135 years old organization pioneer in this field of Air Pollution Technology solutions, Flue Gas Desulphurization, and ESPs. SaveEco Energy, with its proven experience and expertise in executing Large Size Projects within India and overseas, assures customers of marvelous solutions for these requirements.
R&R Beth and SaveEco Energy India partnership introduced India to the latest German Technology for such Semi-dry and Dry FGD plants up to 50-60 MW capacity. Beth Patented bag filters, wet & dry ESPs, scrubbers, and high-efficiency cyclones are being used worldwide for particulate and gaseous pollutants. Beth technology for Sox and Nox abatement is the most preferred, which also cleans acid fumes like HCL, HF, etc.
