Bag Filters are used for a ‘dry’ collection of dust particles and for recovering fine dust particles from flue gas. These are compact fabric filters that ‘de-dust’ the filter bags through jets of compressed air. When these are equipped with the corresponding filter media, they are capable of effortlessly working below the existing and expected particulate emission values.
Fabric filters can be used for temperatures up to 250°C. They are particularly useful in harsh and industrial environments, finding an exclusively successful use in industrial areas.
In addition to this, they are a bonus when compared to other filter systems (e.g., electric) by low capital expenditure.
Due to the deposited residue, they are applicable as overpressure or negative pressure systems depending on the arrangement of the ventilator in front of (raw gas system) or after (clean gas system) the bag filter. Depending on the required filter surface and the installation conditions, they are available as in-line filter or double filter with flexible width, length and height dimensions.
